To deepen public understanding of food, agriculture, and environmental sustainability and promote and agriculture education from root, our team partnered with Lan’s Friendly Farm to host an event- "Walking into the Farm, Exploring the Environment: Food and Agriculture Environmental Education Experience Activity".
Through a variety of engaging activities, participants were connected with the land, bringing food and agriculture education from the classroom into everyday life. In recent years, food and agriculture education has become a crucial part of promoting sustainable development. The activity adopted a "learning by doing" approach, transforming knowledge into fun experiences through parent-child participation, fostering environmental awareness and sustainable living literacy.
Grateful for Corporate Support in Creating Educational Value Together
Special thanks to Lockheed Martin for their generous support, reflecting their commitment to supporting sustainability, education, and meaningful community engagement. Their contribution helped provide participants with valuable opportunities to engage in food and agriculture education, gain a deeper appreciation for sustainable food systems, and experience the journey of food from farm to table.
This support not only contributed to the successful execution of the event but also helped expand access to educational experiences that promote sustainability and community engagement. We would also like to thank Lockheed Martin representatives Director Jeff Teng and Mr. Park Sanghoon for joining and actively participating in the event.

A Rewarding Exploration Through the Five Senses
The event attracted many families, embarking on a journey of discovery full of surprises and rewards from the moment they stepped into the farmland. Photos are attached below showing participants engaging in hands-on activities, observing firsthand, and interacting. Participants not only learned agricultural knowledge and environmental conservation concepts but also gained a deeper understanding of the hard work involved in producing every food source, thus cultivating an attitude of cherishing food, protecting the land, and being environmentally friendly.
This event showcased the results of diverse interdisciplinary collaboration. The academic team, in conjunction with local farm resources, planned courses including professional explanations, agricultural experiences, environmental observation, and interactive games, guiding participants to learn ecology through their five senses and the close relationship between agriculture and the environment. In the future, our team will continue to work with partners from all sectors to deepen food and agriculture education, combining knowledge into daily life, jointly creating a sustainable and healthy future.
