9th University Consortium Graduate Forum（9th UCGF）
The 9th University Consortium Graduate Forum (9th UCGF), co-organized by Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), the University Consortium (UC), and the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), was held from July 16 to 19, 2024, at the main conference room of Loman Park Hotel Yogaykarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The conference is calling for papers on the following topics:th University Consortium Graduate Forum, 9th UCGF）於2024年7月16日至7月19日於印尼日惹洛曼公園飯店（Loman Park Hotel Yogaykarta）主要會議室招開。本次會議大會徵稿主題如下：
- Innovation and Practices in Circular Economy
- Supply Chain Management for Circular Economy
- Impact of Circular Economy to Watershed Conservation and Climate Change Mitigation
- Technological Advancements and Digitalization in Food Security and Climate Change
This meeting was presented by our laboratory's doctoral students You-Yi Lee and Ya-Zhen Huang, who presented their research findings on:
Topic 1 (You-Yi Lee ): Without Waste: Biogenic Waste Valorization With Innovative Anaerobic Digestion Towards The Circular Economy
Topic 2 (Ya-Zhen Huang): Agricultural Non-Point Source Pollution Control Using Agro-waste-derived Biochar and its Carbon Emission Reduction Benefit
The participating countries include the host country Indonesia, as well as Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Japan. The two-day conference includes lectures, academic presentations, dinners, and sightseeing tours of local attractions. In addition to academic exchanges, the more important thing is to establish interpersonal networks with graduate students from various countries through these two days of activities.
